Seek God at all times

Hello my little friends, I hope this blog finds you in the best of your spirits.

Before I start writing any further, I would like you to remind you of this verse. “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”Eph 6: 2,3. This is a promise that comes with a condition and a reward which follows on obeying the command.

If at any point in life, you feel neglected or overlooked by your parents and following this command seems difficult, I urge you to pray over it to the Abba Father as He is our ultimate parent. As adults and as parents, we get caught up in complicated things which are necessary to be dealt with at that moment. In doing so, we tend to overlook the attention we ought to give our children.

Our Father in Heaven who looks after us is able to comfort and satisfy us in greater ways than our earthly parents. Our heavenly father is always there to watch over us and direct us in the right path. How good do we feel when our teachers show us appreciation at School? How much better can we feel that our God has called us by our name when we were in our mothers womb and has inscribed us in the palm of his hands? You are never alone for He is watching over you every moment.

During testing times, I urge you to read the Bible and pray about the matters that bother you. God will answer your prayers and things will turn out to be better.

Also, pray for the well being and safety of your parents and don’t forget to let them know about your feelings.

May God bless you and your families and help you to stay strong in Christ.
